Charge 4:
I owned and wore a Charge 3 for almost 2 years 24-hours a day. I can tell you there is not much difference between these two trackers.
There are 3 reasons why you would select this tracker. First is the size of the tracker is much more slender than the big smart watches.
Secondly, you only require some basic fitness and health features. This is a very capable device that can track fitness activities and sleep.
Thirdly, is the price, if you don’t want to spend more dollars to get the smart features and advanced health features that the smart watches have to offer.
I would encourage you to read my book “Fitbit Your Health” link below to Amazon at only 99 cents. I wrote this book while wearing the Charge 3 and can show you how used that tracker to take my health to a whole new level.
I do however ask you to consider at least the Versa 3 if you can spring for the extra dollars. The extra features are well worth the money.
One closing comment, I am 56 years old and need reading glasses for small print. That was my biggest complaint with the Charge 4 the screen is small. When I moved up to the Fitbit smart watches it was a game changer for me.
The increased size of the screen makes a world of difference in being able to read what is on the screen. When I had the Charge 3 I looked at the Fitbit app on my phone for the information. Now I just have to turn my wrist and look at my Versa 3.
Bottom line if you are on a tight budget and looking for a economical Fitbit this model is for you.
I make this statement on all models, buy a screen protector the day you buy the watch to protect your investment. I personally like the tempered glass models that snap around the entire face of watch. I will include a link below for those as well.
